Don’t fall for predator websites trying to charge you for documents that you can get here for free. The Consumer Warning Network launched the grassroots “Produce the Note” effort as a non-profit service to educate consumers.
It’s a way for homeowners to fight back when they’re being treated unfairly by their lender or servicer. We don’t want you to be taken advantage of by fly-by-night opportunists trying to profit off of your hardship.
